We are often made to swallow the subjects by our education system and most of the time it ends up on getting a good score in examination and getting a job at the end. Creative temperament, investigative and research qualities are totally being eliminated by this system. That is something which we called bookish knowledge. Where logical questioning about these subjects are often not accepted by the teachers and scholars. Even some people who are relentlessly trying to bring this knowledge to the world, are being condemned by the so called bookish and conformists for their cheap personal interests. Point is that, the scriptures, which are referred to study these ancient sciences, were distorted many times in the past. Sages and scholars, who imparted this knowledge through scriptures, they wrote in Sanskrit language. There are very few who can translate and understand the meaning of those verses in this present era. A tendency to use linguistic definition of those words in a limited way can also be seen in many scholars. Sanskrit is not a mundane language like English, and one word can be interpreted to various meanings. Also, the meanings of those words, if not modified as per the present era, then whole understanding can go wrong. So, it is always better to accept our limitations than claiming that we understand and can decode everything which this sacred language (Sanskrit), preserves within it. Honestly speaking we can't. Mere linguistic definition is not enough unless we can comprehend any word to all the possible dimensions when Sanskrit language is concerned.
